The Academy was founded by Jessica Sloyan, a wellness professional with more than 25 years' experience within the international spa and wellness industry.

Beginning her career as a personal trainer and therapist, Jessica progressed through every level of luxury spa operations, giving her a unique understanding of both the therapist's role and the complete guest journey. This practical experience now underpins the philosophy behind every UKASTA programme.

Today, Jessica serves as a Board Member of the UK Spa Association and works internationally as a senior spa consultant for one of the world's leading luxury skincare and spa brands. She supports prestigious hotels and destination spas in elevating guest experiences, developing treatments, delivering therapist education and shaping wellness strategies across international markets.
